Angie Power has created gowns for brides internationally and specialises in bespoke wear. You will collaborate with Angèle, the brand’s founder and head designer, across several appointments and fittings as we take the time to understand your vision for your unique garment.
Our atelier is located in East London or private home appointments are available in London and Venice. The lead time for bespoke pieces is 3 to 5 months. For more information about timing and pricing please contact info@angiepower.co.uk.

Creating your gown
Inspiration
Your bespoke bridal experience will begin with a consultation with Angèle, the brand’s founder and head designer. You will discuss all your inspirations and explore the silhouettes, curated fabric selection, handpicked embellishments, and bridal accessories available to you.
Design
We love working with vintage fabrics as well as new high end natural fibres such as silk. We also thoughtfully source precious and rare embellishments, including antique lace and beading, offering you the most charming materials possible for your individual design.
Creation
Fittings will take place at our atelier giving you the opportunity to see behind the scenes of the making of your bespoke dress. A toile will be created as part of this process before your one-of-a-kind bridal gown is lovingly crafted.

'Custom', is when you order an existing Angie Power design and customise it to your taste: Chose from an array of different colours or fabrics and make minor adjustments to the design, such as altering the neckline, changing sleeve styles, or modifying the length.
'Bespoke' is a dress designed and made entirely for you from start to finish. Working closely with Angèle to create your dream dress, this couture service aims to create a one-of-a-kind piece tailored to you.
Anywhere between 3 to 6 months. It all depends on the intricacy of the design and embellishments: embroideries, custom fabrics etc.
Please consider your availability for scheduling the fittings.
Bespoke couture garments start at £2,500 for 'party' dresses or civil wedding outfits and from £4,500 for ceremony bridal dresses.
This includes:
- Design and measurements appointment.
- Toile fitting
- Work in Progress fitting
- Final fitting
PS: Before committing to anything you will have an initial 30min video-call consultation with Angèle to talk about your ideas, dreams, and budget. This is free of charge and no obligation.
You can contact us via the form above to schedule a consultation. This is to better understand your needs and ideas. You'll also be able to ask us any questions you may have.
After which, if you'd like to go ahead, we will set up a first design appointment to review first sketches and ideas together, look at fabric and embellishment options and take your measurements.
- Toile fitting: trying on a cotton version of your garment so we can make any adjustments on fit and style you may want. Once happy with the toile we will get started with the making of your actual dress.
- Depending on the intricacy/style of your garment we may need to do an additional fitting.
- Final fitting: Bring your accessories, shoes etc. This is the moment you'll get to see your finished dress. You'll try it on to check you are happy with everything, that the fit and length are perfect. If any adjustments need to be made there is still time to change tiny details if necessary.
You're welcome to bring friends or family during fittings but please let us know in advance.
You can come to our atelier, located in East London, or we offer home visits in Venice or within Central London for your comfort.
We make veils, headpieces and embroidered belts. Our iconic Power Pouches can also be made in the same fabric as your dress if you want a perfect colour match or specific embroidery for a personal touch.
Yes, we've done it before! We can find ways around being far away, from guiding you to take your own measurements live via video-call, to sending you fabric swatches via post.
We can limit the amount of times we need to see you in person. The most important meeting is the 'Toile Fitting' where you'll be trying on a cotton version of your dress to ensure all fits correctly and you feel great in your garment before we go ahead and make the real final dress.
