Statement of ethical intent
At Angie Power, we are committed to sustainability, slow-fashion and fair working conditions. Our brand is founded on the belief that our garments should be as joyous to make as they are to wear. All pieces are made in London, either handmade at our atelier or made exclusively by local craftspeople, ensuring fair compensation and safe working conditions.
All of the materials we use are hand-picked by us and we only use fabrics that have either been recycled or sourced locally and ethically. We use a mixture of deadstock upholstery fabrics sourced in Venice, end-of-roll silks, and materials from local mills. We only ever use suppliers who align with our values.
We prioritise transparency and aim to limit our environmental impact by only producing what is needed to avoid overproduction, using conscious pattern cutting to minimise waste and repurposing leftover materials. We deliberately focus on creating timeless and seasonless designs, encouraging lasting use rather than short-term trends. Our use of high-quality materials supports this longevity.
As we grow, we are actively exploring options for formal certifications and partnering with suppliers and retailers who meet the highest sustainability standards.
