The Brand
An independent sartorial atelier founded by Angèle Donà dalle Rose, based between London and Venice. Angèle draws inspiration from the heavily romantic and powerfully feminine aesthetics of 18th-century designs and 1960s pop culture for her collections. Influenced by a blend of traditional French couture, Italian glamour, and British heritage, her designs are as playful as they are timeless.
Keen to provide a meaningful fashion experience, the focus of the brand revolves around curated permanent designs, reinvented each season with newly found fabrics and inspirations in limited edition lines. With a long-term commitment to sustainability, Angie Power garments are made from responsibly sourced fabrics like silks or salvaged end-of-roll fabrics, to limit waste and create unique pieces. Power Girl
Angèle grew up between Paris and Venice. Her parents, a painter and a textile designer, raised her in a highly creative environment, teaching her their crafts. Through their Venetian design laboratory, Donatus Venetian Fabrics, her family practiced traditional dyeing methods to produce exquisite interior fabrics.
Developing her own creativity through her love of ‘making things’, Angèle went on to study Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins in London. She holds a Master’s degree in History of Design and Fashion from the Royal College of Art and Victoria and Albert Museum, where she nurtured her passion for research and a curiosity for traditional and artisanal techniques, incorporating them into her vibrant and fresh young brand.
