EQUISITE COLLECTION - Hand-painted Donatus Corset - Red, Navy and Gold

The title of our Exquisite Collection pays homage to the splendour and provenance of the fabrics used to craft these pieces. Donatus Venetian Fabrics, a textiles powerhouse during the twentieth-century, practiced traditional dyeing methods to produce the most spectacular interior fabrics.

This one-of-a-kind corset features a delicate hand-painted motif set against a rich red background. Truly a piece of Venice's cosmopolitan history, created from a fabric which witnessed the city's twentieth-century glamorous social scene. This extremely rare Donatus fabric is hand-painted, with only a couple of metres left in existence.
